WHO WE ARE
The Highlands Ranch Sustainability Club works to empower residents of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, to improve the sustainability of our community: increasing access to composting and recycling, conserving water, reducing carbon emissions, and making a positive difference in our community and our planet. Our club is open to all Highlands Ranch residents who are interested in environmental sustainability!
WHAT WE DO
OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
At the Highlands Ranch Sustainability Club, we are dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. Our initiatives include supporting community clean-up and composting events, educational workshops on sustainable living, touring our waste provider's recycling facility, and collaborating with local organizations and the HRCA to implement eco-friendly practices. We like to keep it positive - we're not into protesting, picketing, attacking, or other negativity. We seek to partner with the HRCA, Metro District, Douglas County, Waste Connections, Centennial Water, Compost Colorado, and other organizations that serve our community. We are committed to making a meaningful impact on the environment and fostering a more sustainable future for Highlands Ranch.
